A small Cape Town team that turns up.
Cape Current Electrical does electrical repairs and installations across Cape Town and surrounds, along with the handyman and woodwork jobs that tend to come attached. Three of us take the calls, and whoever quotes your job is the one who does it.
How we got here
Started on the small jobs.
Most contractors will not come out for one plug point. We built the business on exactly those callouts, and it turns out that is how people decide who they trust with the board upgrade a year later.
The woodwork side came the same way. Clients kept asking whether we could put the shelves back, build the cupboard, close the gap the new circuit left behind. So we set up a workshop and stopped saying no.
We work to SANS 10142 and issue certificates of compliance where the job calls for one. Quotes are free, and there is no charge for coming out to look at the work.

We quote the job, not the hour, so you know what it costs before anyone opens a wall. If we find something behind the plaster, you hear about it before we carry on.

A small team, not a call centre. Whoever walks the job with you is the one who does it, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the day.

A single plug point, a tripping circuit, a shelf that needs hanging. We take the callouts most contractors will not, which is how most of our bigger work starts.
